Frequently Asked Questions
How should I send you my old eyeglasses?
Mailing them via the United States Postal Service is the most cost-effective method. You can send them in an eyeglass case, or just wrap them in tissue or in a padded envelope. You do not have to clean them or prep them in any way.
Can I send broken eyeglasses?
Yes! We gladly accept: Used eyeglasses (frames & lenses), Frames only (no lenses & broken lenses), Non-prescription Sunglasses (clip-ons and glasses) and Prescription Sunglasses. Children’s eyeglasses are especially needed. Both plastic and metal frames are needed.
Should I send eyeglass cases?
Not unless you are using them to protect the frames during mailing. We do not need eyeglass cases on their own.
How do I make a monetary donation to EyeSightForAll.org?
Please mail a non-tax deductible check made to EyeSightForAll. 100% of your donation will provide eye care to patients living in extreme poverty.
Is my eyeglass donation to EyeSightForAll.org tax-deductible?
Sorry, we are not currently set up as an IRS-recognized non-profit organization.
Can I send contact lenses?
Sorry, contact lenses can not be recycled.
